AI comic art style library

23 styles

You choose one art style when you create a work, and the style stays locked for that work so your characters are drawn the same way in every panel. Each page below explains the linework, coloring, stories it suits and how to write scenes for it.

Japanese manga styles

Japanese Manga

Japanese Manga

Japanese Manga is a full-color vertical-scroll comic style built on sharp anime-manga linework, bright cel shading, and high-saturation color with a polished serialized-manga finish. It uses cinematic framing and dynamic close-ups to keep expressive characters at the center of every panel.

Shonen Action

Shonen Action

Shonen Action uses sharp, confident manga contours, exaggerated perspective, and high-speed action lines to deliver high-energy visual rhythm. Its high-contrast cel shading and expressive posing make it ideal for adventure, battle, and coming-of-age stories.

Shojo Romance

Shojo Romance

Shojo Romance presents the refined delicacy of Japanese shojo manga: graceful lines, luminous eyes, and soft floral light around key emotional beats. Its clear, low-saturation palette keeps feelings tender and understated, ideal for school-life and youthful romance serials.

Black & White Manga

Black & White Manga

Black & White Manga recreates the classic pen-and-ink linework, screentone grays, and decisive spotted blacks of Japanese manga interior pages. It uses expressive speed lines and controlled hatching to deliver high-impact panel storytelling for short comics, visual stories, and webtoon series.

Y2K Harajuku Punk

Y2K Harajuku Punk

The Y2K Harajuku Punk AI comic style brings Harajuku kawaii-goth attitude into your panels: hot-pink, electric-cyan and acid-yellow collide over a black-and-white base, with distressed risograph texture and misregistered dot screens. It suits rebellious youth, underground band and street fashion stories, giving every beat a zine-like, high-contrast edge.

Clean Line Art AI Comic Style

Clean Line Art

Clean Line Art renders panels in strict black ink on white paper, with no color or grey shading—just clean contours and controlled line weight. This style keeps attention on character acting and scene structure, making it ideal for comics that rely on clear staging and rhythm.

Graphite Pencil AI Comic Style

Graphite Pencil

Graphite Pencil gives every panel a hand-drawn sketch feel through fine-to-soft graphite lines, natural paper grain, and soft grayscale shading. It suits quiet, realistic, or emotionally subtle stories, keeping each work visually consistent with a pencil-on-paper texture.

Colored Pencil AI Comic Style

Colored Pencil

Colored Pencil is an AI comic style that mimics hand-drawn colored-pencil illustration, featuring layered pigment, visible paper tooth, and gentle color relationships. Each work locks to this style at creation, and characters stay consistent through reusable character cards.

Watercolor AI Comic Style

Watercolor

Watercolor AI comic style uses transparent layered washes, natural pigment bleeding, and fine paper texture to create tender, reflective panels. Its soft controlled edges keep faces, hands, and props clear while letting the paint bloom naturally.

Gouache Style

Gouache

Gouache style simulates traditional opaque gouache painting with dense matte color blocks and visible brushwork, giving every panel a rich handcrafted storytelling texture. Contours are slightly irregular but facial features remain readable, making it suited to emotionally intense or literary comic stories.

Alcohol Marker

Alcohol Marker

The Alcohol Marker style uses vivid layered colors, broad directional strokes, and clean ink contours to create a hand-drawn illustration feel. It suits creators who want a fresh, sketch-like marker look with translucent color depth.

Figure Render AI Comic Style

Figure Render

Figure Render gives every panel the look of a collectible PVC figurine scene. Characters and backgrounds appear as sculpted three-dimensional forms with smooth painted surfaces, dimensional shading, and soft semi-realistic highlights.

Retro Pixel Art AI Comic Style

Retro Pixel Art

Retro Pixel Art builds each panel with crisp blocky pixels, a limited color palette, and simplified details, so character silhouettes and key designs stay readable. It suits short comics, visual stories, and webtoon series with a retro game or playful tone.

Retro Uncanny 3D

Retro Uncanny 3D

Retro Uncanny 3D looks like one frame from an early children's TV show: characters built from ellipsoids and cylinders, textures stretched a little too far, eyes that do not quite match, and acting that stays completely sincere. The joke is the sincerity.

Art style FAQ

Can I change the style halfway through a comic?

The style is picked when you create a work and locked to it so every panel matches. To try another look, create a new work with the same characters.

Can one character appear in different styles?

Yes. Characters are reused through character cards or reference images, so a new work in another style keeps the character’s design while the drawing follows the new style.

How do I choose a style?

Narrow it down by genre first: romance and urban stories suit the Korean styles, adventure and action the Japanese ones, xianxia and historical stories the Chinese styles, and the media styles give a hand-drawn finish. Every page lists what each style suits and what it does not.
