By accessing or using Starveil, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Starveil is an AI-assisted comic creation service. It helps users generate visual assets, story structures, dialogue layers, and exportable long-form comic reading experiences.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, keeping your email access secure, and all activity performed under your account. We may suspend or limit access to protect the Service, enforce these Terms, or respond to abuse.
4. Subscription and Billing
The Service may offer free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the billing portal before the next billing cycle. Usage limits, pricing, and quota may change over time. Refunds are handled according to applicable law and payment processor rules.
5. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the original materials and project content you submit, subject to any rights held by third parties. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transform, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to create, upload, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, exploitative, hateful, sexually abusive, dangerously deceptive, or intended to harass others. You may not probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass protective controls on the Service.
7. AI Output and Rights Clearance
AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to content generated for others. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publication or commercial use, and for ensuring you have the rights needed for any source material, characters, brands, likenesses, or derivative use.
8. Takedown and Enforcement
We may investigate reports of infringement, abuse, or unlawful use and may remove content, reduce access, freeze quotas, or suspend accounts when necessary to protect users, rights holders, or the Service.
9. Disclaimer and Liability Limits
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the Service.
